1. Who provides talklint
talklint ("the Service") is operated by Valentina Koniukhova, a sole proprietor based at Avenida del Silencio 332, 7607 Miramar, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@talklint.me.
2. What you agree to
By installing or using talklint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. What the Service does
talklint is an AI-assisted writing checker. You submit text; we return a list of suggested corrections and a corrected version. We may also provide a more concise rewrite of your text on request.
Corrections are produced by a third-party large language model (currently Anthropic's Claude). They are best-effort and may be wrong, incomplete, or biased. Do not rely on talklint for legally, medically, or financially significant text without independent review.
4. Your account and identity
talklint does not require you to create an account. We identify your device through an anonymous identifier issued by RevenueCat, our subscription provider. This identifier is the only persistent record we keep that ties multiple sessions together.
Settings → Sign out & clear data resets this identifier and wipes the local journal on your device.
5. Subscriptions and payments
- Free tier. Up to 5 checks per UTC day, with texts up to 100 words. Quotas may change with reasonable notice.
- Pro tier. Unlimited checks, texts up to 5,000 words. Offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Billing. All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective terms. We receive only the entitlement state — not your payment method.
- Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew at the price published by the store at the time of renewal, unless cancelled. Cancellation is handled through the store's subscription management UI; refer to Apple or Google.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not process refunds directly because we never receive the funds directly.
- Consumer rights. If you reside in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory consumer cancellation rights ("cooling-off period"), those rights apply in addition to anything in these Terms. Contact us at hello@talklint.me to exercise them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use talklint to:
- Submit text you don't have the right to share, including copyrighted material you don't own or licence.
- Generate, edit, or refine content that violates applicable law, Anthropic's Usage Policies, or Apple's / Google's content policies.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our API beyond the published quota.
- Resell access to talklint or rebadge it as your own product.
We may suspend or terminate access to anyone who abuses the Service. We will notify you of any termination unless prohibited by law.
7. Your content
You retain all rights in the text you submit. We do not claim ownership. We do not store the text on our servers, and we do not use it to train models. See the Privacy policy for details.
8. AI output
Corrections and rewrites generated by talklint are produced by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing them before use. We make no warranty that the output is accurate, safe, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of talklint at any time. For paid subscribers, where a discontinuation meaningfully reduces functionality, we will provide a prorated refund through the relevant app store.
10. Intellectual property
The talklint name, logo, website, app, and underlying code are owned by Valentina Koniukhova. The "Уютно" design system and accompanying assets are licensed for use within talklint only. You may not use our marks without written permission.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all such warranties.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights in the EU, UK, or your jurisdiction.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Consumers ordinarily resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection rules retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app or via email (if you have shared one). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
